Please Note: Attendance is on a first come, first-serve basis due to a limited number of exhibitor spaces. For DMC / Inbound Operators, we have a capped number of companies accepted from each country. 

Rate: ZAR 19,090 / USD 1,270 per person per diary/calendar
(Additional Diaries are available at ZAR 16,100 / USD 1,075)

The affordability is one important factor. We are too small and cannot afford the big shows as it costs over $10000 to attend in person. Many small companies might only be able to do one show. For us, OurAfrica is a god-send and there must be many other companies in the same position.
Also it is the only trade show where being a DMC puts you on equal footing and importance as the suppliers. With the big shows, pure DMC’s are a complete disadvantage.
I think the time for the big expensive shows it probably coming to a conclusion and they will need to change the way they operate so you are well placed to be ahead of the curve on this.
I would also be wary of having it too often when the other trade shows get going again, as there is only so much time a company without an fully equipped and manned marketing department are able to put aside. Plus you do not want to compete with the times that are already traditionally bagged by the main international shows
