ArtnAfrica is a niche travel designer with a focus on art, architecture, wine and food in South
Africa. Our itineraries include safaris too, ranging from totally authentic to ultra luxurious.
Our guests visit privately owned art collections of contemporary and classic local artists, artist
studios, as well as ethnic and cultural art, expertly guided by an art specialist.

We visit stunning homes designed by award-winning South African architects, guided by a well-known local
architect. The homes are privately owned and not open to the public.

The wine and food focus is overseen by our own award-winning winemaker who takes guests to
‘best kept secret’ wineries off the beaten track, and to gourmet meals in private homes, where food
lovers enjoy the creations of professional chefs or well- accomplished South African home cooks.
These food experiences are paired with wines of the Cape and are closed to the public.

Our safari guests visit wildlife areas to experience the essence of Africa : wild animals in their
natural habitat. Safari lodges are chosen with clients’ needs in mind and vary from unassuming to lavish.

We have 36 years experience and our guests are mostly high-end travellers. All itineraries are custom-made and cover Southern Africa, East Africa or both.
