Blue Crane Safaris Namibia was established in 2009 and is located in the capital city of Windhoek.

Since its inception, Blue Crane Safaris Namibia has worked with a wide range of requests. Our customers rely on our proven quality and the reasonable prices of our safaris which operate across Namibia, Botswana, Zambia and South Africa. We offer an excellent service and endeavour to satisfy our customers’ needs.

Both of Blue Crane Safaris Namibia’s owners reside in Windhoek and are born and bred Namibians with a passion for tourism.

Derek Jacobs had 15 year’s experience in the Namibian Tourism Industry before the inception of Blue Crane Safaris. Mathilda comes from a financial background with 20 year’s experience in various industries. This combination has contributed meaningfully to the success of Blue Crane Safaris Namibia.

We pride ourselves on our strong focus on sustainable tourism. This is part of our strategy and one of the fundamental principles on which we strive to conduct all of our touristic activities.

As part of this commitment, we are engaged with the diffusion of the concepts and practices of sustainability in the local tourism industry, as well as the community development of local Namibians. We are involved in various activities which contribute to the preservation and protection of Namibia’s cultural and natural heritage.
