Located in the heart of Laikipia on a private conservancy of 15,000 acres known for its commitment to conservation, the Lodge is intimate, family-owned and utterly unique. The Lodge comprises of 10 superbly located cottages and includes an exclusive use camp: Nilotica Private that sleeps up to 10 pax and the Main Lodge which sleeps up to 16 pax. The lodge was built by 3rd generation Kenyan Sculptor and Conservationist Murray Grant and his wife Sophie who are lucky enough to call El Karama home. Constructed of stone, artisanal thatch and hand-carved wood, the lodge is known for it’s artistic heritage, organic aesthetic and deep care for the environment..
