A social-distancing dream on a budget, Kirurumu Under Canvas offers a circuit of small tented camps in Northern Tanzania, with lodges in Tarangire and Manyara, and mobile camps in the Serengeti. The mobiles each have 7 tents, in locations ideal for the migration; we pride ourselves on a high level of guiding. Our lodges in Tarangire (10 rooms) and Manyara (27 rooms) are well positioned for wildlife and cultural experiences. Part of our ethos is working with local communities, offering employment, training, and dedication to sustainable tourism and wilderness preservation. If you require a DMC in Tanzania & Kenya, our sister company Hoopoe Safaris provides specialised and tailor-made experiences, supporting respectful, authentic community interactions with great guides. Our custom-built, open vehicles, serviced in our workshop, are available for game packages based at the camps. Although connected to Kirurumu, we are not wedded to our camps and lodges, and use a wide range of partners.
