Matingwe Lodge

Matingwe Lodge is a small 4-star lodge situated adjacent to the southern gate of the Welgevonden Nature Reserve. Welgevonden has the “Big 5” we also have a number of plains game animals on our farm outside of Welgevonden. Although we are not situated in Welgevonden we do game drives into Welgevonden allowing us access to the Big 5 and the many species of animals. We have a restaurant, bar and swimming pool on-sight and cater for all needs and dietary requirements. There are 6 units and we can sleep 14 pax, each room has a luxury sleeper couch allowing children to be in the same room as parents if wanted. We are child-friendly and a malaria-free area. We are a covid compliant lodge.
