Montagu Country Hotel

The Montagu Country Hotel, situated in South Africa’s dried fruit capital and center of the famous Route 62, is the only original Art Deco hotel in the country that has been welcoming visitors through her iconic stained-glass doors since 1875.

The hotel has 29 individually furnished en-suite bedrooms, 13 luxury rooms, and 14 classic rooms. Two self-catering units (one unit of which is wheelchair-accessible) are ideal for families or business travellers who would like to make Montagu their home away from home for a couple of days.

Extensive renovations were done in the lockdown period, and the hotel now has the following new offerings :
