Ol Jogi aims to be a leading model for private conservation, with relentless efforts to pioneer new methods and techniques that enable us to protect wildlife and assist local communities. In 2013, the Directors of Ol Jogi made the decision to open their extraordinary house to the public to help pay for the cost of rhino conservation and more. The house itself is particularly luxurious, offering a fantastic contrast to the wild environment in which it is situated. Ol Jogi can cater to any number of guests between the main cottages and our additional luxury tent setup (also perfect for staff, security, pilots, guides, etc.), starting with a minimum of 4, 6, or 8 guests depending on the time of year. The main house is incomparable in Kenya, as is the level of service and attention to detail, which differentiates us from others. Of greater significance is the fact that we only sell the house exclusively to one group at a time. Guests have both the entire house, and the entire conservancy, to themselves. This gives our visitors the opportunity to witness Africa through an exclusive, unique and truly individual experience in one of Kenya’s most pristine wilderness areas. Furthermore, the exclusivity ensures that our tourism has a “low-impact” on the environment, an element crucial in our conservation vision. Guests are welcome to visit the onsite Wildlife Rescue Center, Vet Clinic, Primary School and more, participating in conservation and community projects at the highest level. |
