Pel’s Island Camp is an intimate brand-new camp set to open towards the end of this year in nature’s much-loved masterpiece, the Okavango Delta Botswana. The camp takes its name from a breeding pair of Pel’s fishing owls that have made the island their home. A dream come true for the Labuschange family who looks forward to welcoming guests to this treasured part of the world.

The camp is set on the edge of a lagoon which has a resident pod of hippos that are always happy to make their presence known and is the main water source in the area for wildlife during the winter months.

The camp boasts 6 luxury suites that enjoy expansive views across the lagoon and grasslands, providing the perfect opportunity for guests to relax and view the wildlife between safari activities.

Activities will include floating along the crisscrossing waterways by mokoro, nature walks with our expert guides, and game drives.

Guests can look forward to exceptional wildlife encounters all year round.

Please note the camp is only accessible by a short helicopter flight, a magnificent start to any journey.
