• Kiri Camp

Machaba Safari’s newest camp, located in Botswana’s iconic Okavango Delta, benefits from being situated on a private concession which allows our guests to experience night drives and walking safaris. Kiri Camp’s proximity to the floodplain also means that guests can also enjoy a relaxing meander down the river in a mokoro or motorboat. Accommodation comprises two family tents and eight double tents raised on elevated, wooden decks, with  vast sweeping views of the Okavango Delta and the calm tranquillity of the African bush.

Their Opening special is a 6-night package combining 3 nights at GOMOTI PLAINS & 3 nights at KIRI CAMP – including FREE HELICOPTER FLIGHTS, valid until 31 October 2022.  The Helicopter flights include:

    • Maun Airport to Gomoti Plains
      • Gomoti Plains to Kiri Camp
      • Kiri Camp to Maun Airport

  • Mashatu Euphorbia

Botswana’s Northern Tuli Game Reserve has a new eco five- star camp within Mashatu Game Reserve called Mashatu Euphorbia Villas, which opened in May 2021.  Surrounded by a forest of Euphorbias and perched high above the Majale River, the camp’s eight mopane-pod shaped villas offer earthy glamour and views to die for over the Land of Giants.   Sustainability has been a driving force behind the camp, with solar-heated private plunge pools, solar air-conditioning, state-of-the-art water treatment and recycling systems and a conservation consciousness thread throughout every element of the camp.  Watch their video here and book a meeting with Kelly Braby.

  • Pel's Island

Pel’s Island Camp is an intimate, brand-new safari camp set to open its doors in September 2022 in nature’s much-loved masterpiece, Botswana’s Okavango Delta.  Named after a breeding pair of Pel’s fishing owls that have made the island their home, this is a dream come true for the Labuschagne family. The camp is set on the edge of a 24-hectare lagoon where guests can enjoy viewing the resident pod of hippos that are always happy to make their presence known – and is the main water source in the area for wildlife during the winter months.

The camp boasts 6 luxury suites (4 double suites & 2 family suites) with expansive views across the lagoon and Moremi grasslands. Activities will include floating along the crisscrossing waterways by mokoro, nature walks with expert guides and game drives.  The Delta promises exceptional wildlife encounters all year round.  Please note the camp is only accessible by helicopter – a magnificent start to any safari.
