Congratulations to The Old Rectory in Plettenberg Bay on being listed as the no. 8 hotel in South Africa in the Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards 2023. In addition, Restaurant 1777 placed in the Top 50 of the best restaurants in the country in the Dineplan Reviewers’ Awards.

Other exciting news includes welcoming new GM, Bianca Snyman and front-of-house team.   Another development worth celebrating is the installation of a supplementary solar power system which helps to address the inconvenience of load shedding while significantly lowering the hotel’s consumption of electricity.
